The main lines of research laboratory focuses on the analysis and semantic interpretation of changes in physical and cognitive conditions of people suffering from a disease or has been destabilized by social or environmental changes. These axes are deployed in both contexts, a) the medical and clinical context; b) the social, as evidenced by the ongoing projects in the laboratory.

In both cases, the laboratory's goal is to become a showcase for the dissemination of methods and techniques from the merger of the expertise of faculty researchers lab members (machine learning, automatic natural language processing, text drilling, audiovisual or sensorimotor data) for assisting specialists as ordinary users in their interpretation of the data analysis results from various sources.
